Tønballe forest is fantastic with its mosaic of salt marches, natural woodland, woodland pastures and meadows.

There is a rich animal and bird life, which can be seen in the woods themselves or from the bird-watching tower on the beach.

In the midst of the woods lies Tønballe Nature Centre, which among other things runs a nature school for children and youngsters.
