Hjejlekiosken

The Hjejle kiosk is located in the building which serves as an office for the Hjejleselskabet, which among other things. operates the tourist boat route between Silkeborg Harbor and Himmelbjerget.

Hjejlekiosken was built in 1911, Hjejlekiosken's romantic, Swiss half-timbered style is reminiscent of cosiness, excursions and holidays. Similar buildings can be seen here in Silkeborg in the old sanatoria. Silkeborg’s coat of arms designed by Anton Rosen can be seen on the building.

Souveniers

If you're dreaming of more experiences to take home, you're in luck. That is precisely the purpose of a range of specially crafted Hjejle products that you can buy on board the boats.

Among the products is a unique Gin, made from the botany you can see right outside the windows when sailing with the Helicopter boats. In addition to the popular Hjejle beer from Grauballe Bryghus, it is the closest you get to filling a trip with the Bottle Hjejle boats.
